Cattle grazing on the farm with the shop beyond
From Field to Fork

A short journey, honestly told

Cattle reared on cereals grown on the farm. Vegetables from growers we can name. This is field-to-fork in the most literal sense.

How we farm

From our fields to your kitchen

When the family moved to the farm in 1987, they introduced a small herd of cattle to a working cereal farm. That same land still feeds the counter today.

1

Reared on our own cereals

Our cattle — Limousin, Charolais and Belgian Blue cross — are reared on cereals grown on the farm. The shortest possible journey from field to counter.

2

Named local growers

Where we can't grow it ourselves, we buy from farms we know: mushrooms and tomatoes from Scarisbrick, cabbage from Ormskirk, broccoli from Lathom.

3

Prepared on site

Beef is butchered and dry-aged in our own butchery, and the deli is prepared in-house. Nothing arrives pre-packed and forgotten.
